Rebranding RezKit for industry & investor recognition.
RezKit – a better way to book
RezKit is a travel technology start-up that helps tour operators and travel pioneers create seamless booking experiences.
// The challenge
The RezKit team started with a vision: to create a SaaS platform that gives tour operators the online capabilities of other eCommerce businesses. They had the technical expertise to develop a fantastic product, but they needed more than that to engage clients. They needed brand recognition. As Founder Matt Illston puts it, they’re “technologists, not marketers.”
As soon as the team had secured their first round of investment from Jenson Funding Partners, they started searching for a branding and marketing agency. They needed a company that could translate their vision into a fully-fledged brand and take it to market. That’s when they chose EV.

// The solution
We began by developing RezKit’s go-to-market strategy by pinning down their vision, mission, and value proposition. In order to drive commercial growth, we knew we needed to establish them within the travel reservation software space, and demonstrate their platform USPs.
To begin this process, we hosted a creative workshop to help us distil the brand’s narrative and personality into a new visual and messaging identity. This included determining the brand’s archetypes – the guiding principles for all messaging and design elements.
What we delivered:
- Go-to-market strategy
- Full creative workshop
- Design & messaging rebrand
- Design & messaging guidelines
- Website design
- Annual content strategy
- Social media management

Visually, we knew that RezKit needed to convey an adventurous, experiential feel. The team wanted to differentiate it from more traditional, blue and grey IT brands, while remaining recognisable as a SaaS platform. To achieve this balance, we opted for vibrant gradients, clean typography, and a straight-edged ticket ‘frame’ for all designed assets.
These design choices bring a modern feel to the more adventurous side of the brand. The sunset-inspired colour palette and travel-focused imagery were chosen to convey RezKit’s genuine excitement for the future of tourism.
From a messaging perspective, we wanted to position RezKit as disruptive yet rooted in empathy. That’s why we created a tone of voice that feels conversational and aspirational, yet unwavering – RezKit is empowering travel businesses with a booking software that was built to make a difference.
This brand identity now drives every marketing asset we deliver, from whitepapers to investor brochures, newsletters to business cards.

// The results

A cohesive brand.
Now, RezKit has a brand identity that looks and feels consistent across every channel. It means their team can communicate their brand confidently, and audiences always know who they’re speaking to. This builds a cohesive experience, and ultimately fosters trust.
What’s more, the RezKit team no longer needs to fiddle around to make emails or proposals look good. By investing in a rebrand upfront, they have the assets ready to go.

A clearly communicated vision.
RezKit doesn’t feel like other B2B SaaS brands. It rejects the idea that to appear trustworthy, you need to look and sound like everybody else. Instead, it reflects the team’s desire to bring back the fun to travel bookings – for operators and travellers.
As Matt puts it, “rebranding was an opportunity to consider our values, unique selling points, and how we want to communicate.”

Brand awareness and recognition.
Within two months of sharing their new brand, and starting regular marketing activity, the team were getting recognised. When they were attending conferences and reaching out to prospects, they were hearing that people already knew who they were.
As Matt says, “customers buy into how you present yourself”. Although the platform will continue to evolve, a strong brand identity will allow RezKit to continue building awareness and crucially, loyalty.

To walk into a room and have people in the industry recognise RezKit after just two months of having a new brand was quite something.”
