Unseen: Working towards a world without slavery

Unseen is a UK charity providing safehouses and support in the community for survivors of trafficking and modern slavery.

A bold design for bold impact.

Unseen’s brand project was delivered pro bono in support of the charity’s mission to “make the unseen seen”. We delved into what this truly means and came up with the concepts that would determine the bold brand design – empowerment, dignity and confidence.

We also felt it was important to portray the narrative of normal people in difficult situations being overlooked, and Unseen’s desire to illuminate these individuals. The logo icon represents the contrasting othering among commonality, while the hand-drawn style adds humanity to produce an entirely people-centric design. We were later contracted to design and manage their website build, implementing the branding across a large site.
